Description

This elegant smoked salmon mousse is silky, light, and refreshingly easy to prepare — an impressive spring starter that takes just 10 minutes from fridge to table.

Instructions

  1. Blend the base: Add 150g smoked salmon and 120g cream cheese to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add lemon and dill: Add the juice and zest of 1 lemon and the leaves from 4 sprigs of fresh dill. Pulse a few times to combine while keeping some texture.
  3. Season: Taste and season with black pepper and a pinch of salt (the salmon and cream cheese are already salty, so go easy).
  4. Chill: Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
  5. Serve: Serve chilled with blinis, crackers, or thinly sliced cucumber.
